Microdermabrasion Spots: Is Crystal Clear suitable for acne prone skin?

Acne is an inflammatory eruption that occurs in and around the sebaceous glands of the face, neck and back. It is caused by overactive sebaceous glands, hormonal activity and pore blockage.

With acne prone skin, dead cells build up around the hair follicles, they interfere with the natural drainage of oil, causing the hair follicle to clog and fill. The resulting blockage can lead to several problems, including comedones and congestion. Regular treatment with Crystal Clear Microdermabrasion will help remove the bond holding together the excessive build-up of dead cells, removing blockages, cleansing the pores, which allows the skin to rid itself of the excessive oils naturally.

You will notice significant results as the treatments reduce the coenocytes that are a contributing factor to the development of comedones, blackheads and whiteheads. The reduction of excess coenocytes also refines the thick, rough texture, associated with oily skin. It can also substantially reduce surface sebum.

Your Crystal Clear therapist will advise on suitability of treatment in your particular case.

Also for home care our Crystal Clear Defence Mask is fantastic to control excess sebum.
