Featured Salon - The H Room
03/12/2009Our first featured salon for December is The H Room in Reading.
Joan and Elaine met forty years ago when they worked at John Lewis. Seven years ago the friends launched The H Room with a mission to become the friendliest salon around.
Their business plan, scribbled on a piece of A4 paper, had their bank manager in stitches but he packed the pair. Now the business has grown beyond all expectations with nine therapists and an online shop on the way.
In 2002, all they had was a tanning machine. Soon they diversified into nails, then waxing and massage. Now they offer a host of other beauty treatments, including Crystal Clear.
Crystal Clear treatments have been on offer for eighteen months and Elaine says their customers love them.
Even with the rapid expansion, The H Room have stuck to the friendly, personal service that has been central to their success. We are proud to have The H Room as a Crystal Clear salon and wish Joan, Elaine and their staff all the best for 2010.
